Sponsor a Teacher

More than 40 teachers and workers serve at two schools in La Limonada. Almost all of them live and raise their children in the community. Their salaries currently amount to an average of $7 a day – while the average person in Guatemala City makes about $14 a day.

Ten 2 End

One way you can provide monthly support for the children and families of La Limonada is by simply making a commitment to give TEN DOLLARS a month – through “TEN2END” – our campaign to end poverty, injustice, hunger, hopelessness and despair in the largest urban slum in Central America.

The Lemonade International Internship Program provides opportunities for motivated individuals to contribute to Lemonade International’s mission to bring hope to the people of La Limonada in Guatemala City. We are looking for highly motivated and talented people 18 years of age or older who desire to serve with us in the La Limonada community.

Our work in La Limonada is founded on our relationships with the people who serve and live there. It is our desire that those relationships are extended to include you as well. A great way to initiate or develop such relationships is by going to Guatemala to meet the people of the community and the team that serves there.
